Maintains a safe and secure environment by patrolling the location and being a visible sign of authority. Provides verbal de-escalation/non-violent intervention for patients or staff in the event of an outburst. Serves as clinic safety officer, performing monthly drills and educating staff towards compliance.

Housing Specialist (ACT)

The Housing Specialist will assist ACT clients in obtaining affordable housing in conjunction with client financial means and/or available grants. The Housing Specialist will also work with other ACT Team members and specialist to meet additional client needs as directed by ACT Team Lead.

Community Support Specialist

SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR) helps communities end homelessness through increased access to Social Security disability benefits. SOAR specialist will engage with people experiencing homelessness in the community to collect documentation, complete SSI/SSDI applications, and maintain contact for ongoing follow-up needs. Experience working in mental health is beneficial.

Administrative Assistant (Covington FQHC)

Screens telephone calls and visitors as directed. Coordinates/ schedules appointments and reminder notifications in electronic health record. Completes all intake data and collects payments for patient visits.

The Administrative Specialist provides both basic and specialized administrative support for the overall office and for multiple programs. The Administrative Specialist works cohesively with office and program staff to maintain effective and efficient operations. The Administrative Specialist will also work directly with clients to complete necessary steps to stay engaged in behavioral health services in home and community based settings.

Community Support Specialist (RRH for Families)

The CSS will work with the families to find and maintain their housing. The CSS should be able to consult with landlords/property managers on behalf of the families and be familiar with resources and landlords in the Greater New Orleans area.

Residential Assistant (Part-time)

Residential Assistants may rotate between any of (3) 24-hour transitional housing programs serving Veterans, families, and individuals living with severe behavioral health diagnoses. All residents enrolled in these programs are homeless. A common goal amongst each program is to allow participants the time needed to move towards a better future for themselves and/or their families without the added worry of "where will I sleep tonight?"

ACT Registered Nurse

The ACT RN will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide behavioral health nursing care to individuals in the community living with severe and persistent mental illness. This is a field based position. Clients will be seen in their homes or community settings.

Community Support Specialist

The Community Specialist will provide trauma-informed, pre- and post-release case management for all participants including conducting assessments, creating individualized case plans, maintaining case records in the EHR, supporting the transition into the community, providing warm handoffs and referrals to meet participants’ needs.
